For more than 14 months, Inside the Box Advisory has been working with a pledge developer and project managing their team to achieve compliance with the Building Safety Act.
With 11 occupied HRBs and additional buildings nearing completion, we have supported the client in drafting various policies and management procedures to comply with the BSA. Additionally, we have coordinated multiple workstreams across management, development, and construction. We have also kept senior-level stakeholders within the business informed of progress and notified them of any organisational-wide and financial risks.

Support with Registering 11 HRBs and compiling the required Key Building Information
Support with procuring a Safety Information System to comply with the Golden Thread requirements of the BSA
Understanding competency requirements under the BSA, and reviewing the clients current process for recording and ensuring competency. Then working with the client to identify specific training to comply with requirements.
Support develop a mandatory reporting procedure that considers escalation reporting, exceptions reporting and crisis management procedures
Working with the management team to understand the role of the BSA is relation to fit-outs and alterations, as to ensure clear and simple process(es) exist and are adhered to for exempt work, scheme work, category a work and category b work in existing and occupied residential buildings.
Support develop a resident engagement strategy that meet all the requirements of the BSA, including how the developer will engage with residents, and collate and respond to resident complaints accordingly
Working with management and accountancy teams to ensure all BSA costs are administered and recovered accordingly
Support the client develop a Building Safety Management Strategy that clearly identifies roles and responsibilities of accountable persons (PAP/AP)
Liaise and support third party provide safety case reports, as to be able to collate Building Assessment Certificates for the 11 HRBs.
